Special Guest: Diana L. Paxson

Diana L. Paxson has been a priestess since 1982, and has studied, practiced, and taught for over twenty years in the U.S. and in Europe. She has worked with Odin since 1987. She is the founder of the Fellowship of the Spiral path and an Elder in the Covenant of the Goddess. She is also an Elder in the Troth, where she coordinates the Clergy Training Program and edits the journal, Idunna. She is the author of "Taking up the Runes", "Essential Asatru", "Trance-Portation", and "The Way of the Oracle" as well as many novels with pagan themes, including "The Wolf and the Raven".

Laurel Mendes

A current member of Gladsheim Kindred and a former member of Hrafnar Kindred, Laurel Mendes has been in continuous practice of the various magical arts of our ancient kin of faith for more than 25 years. Starting in 1988 she was an integral part of Hrafnar's work to recreate Oracular Seidh rite (the rite of seeking visions for the folk that is spoken of in the lore) and she has been practicing, teaching and learning ever since. Today she lives in Baltimore with her husband and her beloved cats, and spends her spare time doing what she loves most cooking and singing.

Denise Bowen

Denise Bowen is a Fellow of Eplagarthr Kindred. She has been honoring Norse Gods since 1995 and a professed Heathen since 1997. She has 15 years of experience with carving horn and bone. Creating ritual tools and sacred art is a large part of her personal spirituality. She is happy to share her knowledge and perspective with others and enjoys teaching her craft whenever she gets the chance.

Jen Munson

Jennifer Munson has loved working with "string" since learning to make finger-crochet chains at an early age. She studies historical textiles and teaches spinning, weaving, dyeing, sprang, netting, naalbinding, and other textile-related arts. She has been Asatruar for over 10 years and she and her family recently joined Eplagarthr Kindred.

John Adams

John Adams has studied a variety of Eastern and Western spiritual practices. He is currently studying Druidry and Asatru. He is currently retired from the apparent world, where he has worked as a librarian, university lecturer, and criminal trial attorney.

Steve Ausband

Steve Ausband is a member of Gollinkambi Kindred and volunteers as Public Relations Assistant for The Troth. As a child, his father read to him in Anglo-Saxon and taught him about the mythology of the North. He has had an interest in language, history and travel since his youth.

Su "Ratatask" Eaves

Su “Ratatask” Eaves is Gythja of Eplagaršr Kindred and the Steward for The Troth in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. She has been active in the Asatru community for over 10 years. She is also a member of ADF and a member of Blue Heron Protogrove.

Guy Eaves

Guy is a founding member of Eplagaršr Kindred, a member of The Troth, the husband of Ratatask and the owner of TLC Campground.

Tanya Peterson

Tanya grew up in Tulsa, OK, but was somewhat nomadic in her 20's. After living in Kansas City, and Minneapolis (twice) she finally decided to settle down in Baltimore (for real, this time.) She was introduced to Asatru in 1996, and found it to be exactly what she was looking for. She is currently an oathed member of Bifrost Way kindred, Tulsa OK, and an active member of Gladsheim Kindred, Columbia MD. She is also a long time member of The Troth, a national Heathen Organization, where she was elected to the High Rede in 2008, and is an ordained godperson through the Troth, having been ordained in 2008.

Elmdea is an OBOD Ovate, best-selling author, Intuitive Coach, Past Life Therapist, and workshop presenter. She has been helping people discover and anchor their joy and passion for more than 40 years.
